Odds and Ends

I enjoy finding items that I can make from the ends of my walking sticks. The stool sample and belly button lint brush are two of the most popular items. They make great white elephant gifts!

Latest Carving

It has been a slow Sunday and I got my hands on a sweet potato. I am told that they shrivel and look really cool after a few days. Has anyone ever tried this? Does anyone know what kind of finish to put on a sweet potato?
