Young Women's Walking Stick

This is a one-of-a-kind, hand carved walking stick that I created as a Christmas gift in 2007 for an exceptional Young Women's leader who has been instrumental in shaping the lives of many young women.

The walking stick is ornamented with a representation of the Young Women's Medallion , the Young Women's Torch logo, the seven rings, which represent the Young Women's values, and the prophets of this generation.

Tip #1

Always pay close attention to your hands when using a band saw so you don't cut a finger and need emergency surgery to repair the tendons and the damage that was done. The surgery and physical therapy end up being quite expensive. And besides being no fun, you lose weeks of carving. There's definitely a reason why this is the first tip to woodcarving!
